Eat Out to Help Out
The Council is urging our residents to help our restaurants, pubs and cafés to get back on their feet by using the Eat Out to Help Out scheme.

You can get a 50% discount on food or non-alcoholic drinks to eat or drink in - up to a maximum of £10 discount per diner - every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday between August 3 and 31, as many times as you like.

The aim is to help businesses that were closed due to the coronavirus lockdown by encouraging customers to dine in, with the establishments then able to claim the money back from the Government.

You do not need a voucher to use this scheme and you can use it at the same time as other offers and discounts.  This discount will be automatically taken off your bill.

Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Public Protection Cllr Geraint Thomas said: “We know our restaurants, pubs and cafés have had a really tough time over the past four months.

“We want to help ensure their survival, so we’re urging our residents to take advantage of this scheme to support them.  Half-price meals on three days of the week for a whole month?  That’s too good an offer to resist!

“We’d also like to encourage those businesses that haven’t registered yet to do so.”
