Temporary drop-in testing centre in Merthyr Tydfil

There will be a temporary COVID testing centre, located at The Castle Car Park in Merthyr Tydfil, from Wednesday 16th September until Tuesday 22nd September.
This will be a DROP-IN, WALK THROUGH test centre and will be operational between 9:30 and 16:30 each day.
This test centre is for residents of Merthyr Tydfil only.
You do not need to book an appointment.
Visitors will need to attend the test centre on foot keeping a safe distance from others in the process. Following the test you must head immediately home to self- isolate until the test result is received. People who test positive for COVID-19 should continue to self- isolate for 10 days.
Some car parking is available on site.
You should only attend the test centre if you CURRENTLY HAVE Coronavirus symptoms:
- New continuous cough
- High Temperature
- Loss/change of taste/smell
