Apply for Assisted Collection

If you are having difficulty in putting out your Wheelie Bin and recycling containers on collection day you can ask for an assisted collection where the collection teams will assist you. 

An assessment is made by the Council’s Waste Wardens who will review whether assisted collections is appropriate.

Residents will be notified of the outcome of their application.

If you disagree with the decision

There is an appeal process if you disagree with the decision where the Waste Wardens will carry out a second review if you can provide a valid reason on why the original review didn’t reflect your usual circumstances.

Only one appeal per household is accepted, unless the circumstances of the householders change.
