Eligibility and Referrals

Are you eligible?

To be eligible to receive support from Inspire2 Work the following criteria must apply:

• you must be aged 16-24
• you must not be in employment, education or training
• both CF and non-CF postcodes are eligible to access Inspire2 Work in Merthyr Tydfil
• if you are 16-18 and registered with Careers Wales, then tiers 1, 2 and 3 status are eligible

The Referral Process

You can self-refer by completing Section 1 of the Inspire2 Work Expression of Interest form.

Alternatively, your Careers Wales Adviser or DWP Work Coach can complete the same form.  As Careers Wales and the DWP are primary referral agents then Section 1 and Section 2a need to be completed. 

All other third party agencies are also welcome to make a referral and would need to complete Section 1 and Section 2b.
