Report a street nameplate

Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is responsible for the provision, repair and maintenance of street name plates with the exception of new developments, where the Developer is responsible for the erection of name plates to council specification.

When reporting a defective or missing street name plate please provide as much information on the location as possible, for example, street name, house numbers, street lamp column numbers, shops, landmarks, etcetera and whether or not it is a new housing development.

Details of all defective or missing street name plates will be included in a repair programme and carried out when resource and finance becomes available.
