Report an abandoned vehicle

Use this service to report an abandoned vehicle.

What is an abandoned vehicle?

An abandoned vehicle is one that appears not to be in regular use and has been in situ for a period of time (usually 2 weeks or more).

Just because a vehicle is in poor condition or not taxed does not necessarily mean that it is abandoned and therefore on occasions additional enquiries may have to be made to establish whether or not the vehicle is abandoned before we can remove it.

This is a service where there is an associated fee or charge. For information on our current fees and charges visit our Environmental Health Fees and Charges page.

If a vehicle is causing an obstruction on the highway or is thought to be stolen or involved in a crime, please report it to South Wales Police on 101

If a vehicle in un-taxed you should report this to the DVLA.
