Our Pothole and other safety defects are prioritised as per MTCBC Highways Network Plan.

The time of when defects are identified will result in different Materials being used. (Out of hours)

Emergency works will be carried out with either temporary tarmac or larger areas may be made safe with throw-ins. This is tarmac laid over a large area to remove the defects resulting in an uneven surface. These temporary measures are taken to protect the Council against third party claims from potholes.
