The total number of committee clerks (other than scrutiny officers/scrutiny co-ordinators) employed by your Council to administer Council committees

Please advise: 1. The total number of political assistants/researchers currently employed by your Council. These may be staff allocated to assist different councillor political groups. We don’t have any political assistants. 2. The total number of policy officers currently employed by your Council. Cabinet has a policy officer who would advise on policy, but they would strictly avoid any political advice. 3. The total number of scrutiny officers/scrutiny co-ordinators employed by your Council to administer Council committees. We have one full time equivalent Scrutiny Officer 4. The total number of committee clerks (other than scrutiny officers/scrutiny co-ordinators) employed by your Council to administer Council committees We don’t have specific committee clerks. Our two Democratic Services Officers and one Apprentice cover this role, but they are also responsible for all other aspects of democratic and member support and electoral services
