We are currently undertaking a research project to better understand how other local authorities across Wales manage two specific operational areas: 1. The process for removing dumped shopping trolleys 2. The process for collecting and recharging costs for abandoned vehicles We would be grateful if you could share details of your current approach to these two areas, including any relevant policies, procedures, partnerships, or cost recovery mechanisms you have in place.

1. The process for removing dumped shopping trolleys N/A 2. The process for collecting and recharging costs for abandoned vehicles We only remove abandoned cars if they are on the adopted highway. If the vehicles are tax we can obtain ownership details from which we can recharge if they have no ownership details the Council then pick up the costs.
