Please can you provide information that you have that proves that Tir Cook trekking/riding centre/kennels CF46 5RN (run by Ceri Olsen) meets the requirements for a licence to operate as a riding school and trekking centre - specifically 1. Any inspection reports including vet reports, a list of horses and ponies that are licensed to be used by the riding school/trekking centre, this should include how many horses and ponies have been deemed fit to work and how they have been assessed- what documentation was given as evidence and copies of these. 2. Were previous animal cruelty offences disclosed and considered when granting the licence? 3. I would also like the details of any horses or ponies that are 3 years old and under on the property, including the ones that are being used for lessons. 4. Any information on what safeguarding is in place for the animals, young children and young women that use the facilities. 5. What health and safety procedures are to be followed and what checks have been done to ensure these are practiced. Specifically around riding safety gear, helmets, what is deemed suitable footwear etc. 6. What qualifications and insurance are held by the instructors there and who is licensed to instruct on the premises. What insurance is held by the owner of the riding school? Are these sufficient? 7. Please also disclose any conflicts of interest with the licensing team and Tir Cook riding/Trekking centre. It has been suggested that the owner of Tir Cook has a school friend in the council that would pass the licence regardless. So please can you provide any and all correspondence between the Olsen's and the licensing dept of the council. 8. And finally please provide details of any complaints submitted regarding the trekking centre/riding school with the last 18 months.
