Re: Regarding training provision for health and social care in council-owned residential care homes within your borough. 1. List of training providers For the period 1st January 2024 to present please provide: a) The names of all training providers commissioned by the Council to deliver health and social care qualifications to staff working in residential care homes owned by the Council. b) The specific qualifications each provider delivers, including qualification title and awarding body, in those residential care homes. 2. Preferred supplier / approved list process Please provide: a) A copy of the policy, procedures or framework that the Council uses to approve, select or add training providers to a “preferred supplier list” or approved provider list for delivering health and social care qualifications in Council-owned residential care homes. b) The criteria used by the Council for adding an organisation to that preferred supplier list (for example: accreditation, track record, cost, quality assurance, Welsh language provision, etc.). c) The current list of approved / preferred training providers (for health & social care qualifications in residential care homes) and the date when each was added to the list. d) The process (including any tender or procurement route) by which a company/organisation can apply to be added to the preferred supplier list, and how many organisations have been added in the last 12 months. 3.
