How much did the local authority spend on Additional Learning Needs (ALN) provision in mainstream schools in the most recent financial year? This would include all forms of additional support in mainstream comprehensive, primary and 3-18 schools, plus additional costs for school transport (e.g. taxis) and any other costs associated with ALN provision in schools? • Could I also have the same information for the financial year 2015-16? • How many pupils in mainstream education in the local authority (primary, comprehensive and combined 3-18) are currently registered as having additional learning needs? • Can I have the same figure for the year 2015-16 please?
