The number of individuals living in those homes (question 1) whose care is funded by the Local Authority, broken down by the same categories 3. The number of homes at question 1 that charge a third-party top up, broken down by the same categories. 4. Please state the number of older people's care homes your authority commissions with, broken down by the following care categories: • Residential = 12 • Residential EMI = 16 • Nursing = 14 • Nursing EMI = 8 2. The number of individuals living in those homes (question 1) whose care is funded by the Local Authority, broken down by the same categories see above • Residential = 44 • Residential EMI = 81 • Nursing = 71 • Nursing EMI = 38 3. The number of homes at question 1 that charge a third-party top up, broken down by the same categories. Unknown, as the Council is not involved in such arrangements. The Council is not required to be involved in these discussions, and providers do not notify us if a third-party top-up is applied. 4. The number of those individual placements by the Local Authority (question 2) that involve a third-party top-up/additional fee paid by: • A third party = We do not hold this information, as the Council is not involved in such agreements and the care providers do not inform the Council. • The Local Authority = We are unable to provide this information as our expenditure records do not separate these costs from overall placement expenditure.
