Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please provide the following information in relation to Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council. 1. Whether the Council has received funding from the Home Office under the Asylum Dispersal Grant in the financial years 2024–25 and 2025–26. 2. The total amount of funding received, broken down by financial year. 3. A breakdown of the accommodation categories for which funding has been received, including but not limited to: • Dispersal Accommodation (DA) • Overflow Dispersal Accommodation (ODA) • Initial Accommodation (IA) • Contingency Accommodation (CA) • Any local authority–led accommodation, including pilot or ongoing schemes 4. Whether the Council has entered into, submitted, or participated in any expression of interest, agreement, pilot arrangement, or funding proposal with the Home Office relating to local authority–led accommodation, including the use of: • Council-owned housing stock • Newly built housing • Refurbished or acquired properties 5. Copies of any agreements, memoranda of understanding, funding schedules, pilot documentation, or correspondence between the Council and the Home Office relating to asylum dispersal or local authority–led accommodation.
