1)Please can you provide a copy of the initial contact letter sent to new home educators in your Local Authority?
Initial contact is usually made via email and is tailored to recipients in each case. In general, emails include an introduction to the named LA EHE contact, an offer of an appointment and a copy of the handbook for Home Educators.
2)(a)Is the initial contact letter the same whether the parent has deregistered from a school, or been home educating from the start and you become aware of the family some other way? Contact is the same.
