Please can you provide the following information in relation to Domestic Abuse Services:
• Where an accommodation service is required, does the council pay charges based on set, pre-agreed figures or based on each circumstance or situation.
• If pre-agreed, what is the average, or typical, amount that is paid. Can this be represented as a daily or weekly charge where possible.
• Where not pre-agreed, how are the charges calculated and is there a limit or cap to what can be charged. Can you also list the maximum, minimum and average charges that are paid.
• What is the average amount of time the accommodation is used for. Are there minimum or maximum timeframes that the accommodation can be used for.
• Does the council ever struggle to find suitable accommodation for victims of domestic abuse.
• In the last 6 months, how many times has the council contacted a provider for emergency or additional accommodation for a domestic abuse victim.
• If a provider was able to offer additional accommodation, who should they present this option to.

1. Where an accommodation service is required, does the council pay charges based on set, pre-agreed figures or based on each circumstance or situation.
Domestic Abuse services (Accommodation – refuge and dispersed refuge units) are commissioned for the whole year on a pre-agreed contract basis.
2. If pre-agreed, what is the average, or typical, amount that is paid. Can this be represented as a daily or weekly charge where possible.
