3 Brief description of the system. Immersive are providing a four-wall immersive projection system using eight projectors—two per wall—to create a seamless, high-resolution visual environment. Interactive wall sensors transform the projected surfaces into large touch-enabled displays, allowing users to engage directly with quizzes, games, educational activities, virtual field trips and simulated real-world scenarios. The system will be powered by Immersive Studio, a cloud-based platform that enables users to find, create, edit and manage interactive experiences through an accessible browser-based interface. Users can access an extensive and continually growing content library, incorporate their own images and 360° videos, and use third-party resources such as YouTube, Google Street View and interactive websites. Content can be organised into collections and launched or controlled easily from a tablet. A dedicated playback PC, audio equipment and control hardware will be housed securely within the communications cabinet. For straightforward day-to-day operation, the complete system can be turned on and off using a dedicated external button installed beside the cabinet. Training and ongoing support will also be provided to help users operate the room, access content and create their own tailored experiences.
