2. Which department, directorate or team is responsible for the management of these cleaning services? = Property Services

3. What is the job title or role of the person with overall responsibility for cleaning operations across these sites? = Head of Property Services

an in-house council team = Yes

an external contractor = Occasionally

Schools:

1. Approximately how many council-owned, council-operated or otherwise supported sites are currently covered by your cleaning service? = 8 of our schools employ their own in-house cleaners, 17 of our schools are cleaned under contracted provision

2. Which department, directorate or team is responsible for the management of these cleaning services? = The schools under contracted provision are managed by a contract monitoring officer within the Education team, the remaining non-contracted establishments are managed directly by the schools

3. What is the job title or role of the person with overall responsibility for cleaning operations across these sites? = Headteachers within the non-contracted schools, for contracted schools it is the role of the Schools Facilities Manager.
