I would like to request the following information for each of the last three academic years available:

Number of teachers who have resigned from local authority maintained schools, broken down:

• academic year;

• primary and secondary schools;

• a subject taught, where that information is available;

• the reason for resignation, where the reason has been recorded.

Number of teaching vacancies in schools maintained by the authority that have remained unfilled for:

• more than three months;

• more than six months;

• more than 12 months.

For these vacancies, I would like to have a breakdown by primary/secondary school and subject, where possible.

For each of the above, I'd also like to have a separate breakdown for:

• Welsh-medium schools;

• bilingual schools;

• English-medium schools.

If the information is available, I would also like to know the number of vacancies where the ability to teach through the medium of Welsh was a requirement for the post.
