3. Cost of recycling vapes: The total cost incurred by the council for the recycling of vapes between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025.

5. Vape recycling points: The total number of vape recycling/collection points operating across the council area as of 31 August 2026.

Re: Regarding vapes collected and recycled/disposed of by, or on behalf of, the council:
1. Number of vapes collected: The total number of vapes collected between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025.

2. Number of vapes collected: The total number of vapes collected between 1 January 2026 and 31 August 2026.
Vapes collected separately calendar year 2025 0.42 t (Up to and including July)
3. Cost of recycling vapes: The total cost incurred by the council for the recycling of vapes between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025.
4. Cost of recycling vapes: The total cost incurred by the council for the recycling of vapes between 1 January 2026 and 31 August 2026.
The Council incurred no costs in relation to the collection and recycling of vapes between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025, or between 1 January 2026 and 31 August 2026, as the vapes were collected and processed at no charge to the Council.
5. Vape recycling points: The total number of vape recycling/collection points operating across the council area as of 31 August 2026.
Disposable vapes are accepted through the Council's kerbside small electricals collection service and at both Household Recycling Centres located in Dowlas and Aberfan.
