Cwestiwn
Please provide the following information from the last 12 months:
1. A list of roads or streets where standard refuse or recycling collection vehicles are currently unable, or instructed not, to travel for routine household collections.
a. If time and cost limits allow, please also provide the same information for commercial waste collections carried out by the council or on its behalf.
2. Where recorded, the reason for each restriction, such as narrow roads, unsafe reversing, weight restrictions or lack of turning space.
3. Where recorded, how collections are instead carried out, such as using a smaller vehicle, crews collecting on foot, or residents using an agreed collection point.
4. Where recorded, the date on which the current access restriction or alternative collection arrangement began.
For clarity, I am only interested in ongoing or regular access restrictions, rather than one-off issues caused by roadworks, weather or temporary obstructions.

Response
1. Roads or streets where standard refuse or recycling collection vehicles are currently unable, or instructed not, to travel for routine household collections
The Council operates a range of refuse and recycling vehicles of varying sizes, which enables collections to be undertaken across all streets within the County Borough. As such, there are no roads or streets where household collections cannot be carried out.
1(a). Commercial waste collections
The Council also operates a range of vehicles of varying sizes for commercial waste collections, enabling access to all streets within the County Borough.
2. Reasons for any restrictions
Where access limitations exist, these relate to roads with restricted access. The Council manages these arrangements through the deployment of appropriately sized collection vehicles.
3. Alternative collection arrangements
Collections on roads with restricted access are undertaken using suitable vehicles as part of the Council's normal service arrangements. Details of refuse and recycling collection rounds are available on the Council's website.
4. Date arrangements began
The Council has historically maintained restricted-access collection vehicles within its fleet to facilitate collections in areas where access may be more challenging. Consequently, no specific start date is recorded for the current arrangements.
For clarity, the Council is not aware of any ongoing access restrictions that prevent routine household or commercial waste collections from being carried out. Temporary issues arising from matters such as roadworks, adverse weather, or other short-term obstructions are excluded from this response
