Answer
1) Please list the destination/destinations of the council's non-recycable municipal waste and say what happens to it at that destination/those destinations (ie buried in landfill / incinerated)? The Council's non-recyclable municipal waste is delivered to Amgen Cymru Ltd, where it is bulked prior to onward transport. The waste is then transported to Viridor's Trident Park Energy Recovery Facility in Cardiff, where it undergoes Energy from Waste (EfW) treatment. This process involves the controlled incineration of waste to generate electricity.
