With reference to the Welsh Audit Office Policy, Making Money Count, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the money that has been paid to the appointed specialist Contractor, J McCarthy plant hire of 46a Farm Ind Est Pyle Bridgend CF33 6NU for completing the Storm Dennis flood damage remedial works on the West bank of the river Taff to safeguard the Avenue - De Clichy -College Boulevard road bridge from future extreme weather elements.
Answer
The job has been completed but we haven’t been invoiced yet. Although MTCBC is contracted to Barry Cosslett for the work therefore we will be paying them and not J McCarthy directly. Barry Cosslett has sub contracted the work to J McCarthy therefore Barry Cosslett will be paying them directly. We don’t know what money will be paid to J McCarthy from Barry Cosslett therefore we cannot provide the answer. Whoever submitted this request will need to ask Barry Cosslett instead.
