Question
Under the FOI act please could you provide me with updated figures for the questions outlined in the request below, for the latest financial year (2021/22).
1. Please list the accommodation providers used by your local authority to house people under the age of 18 for the previous financial year (2018/19), and the current financial year (2019/20) to date.
2. Please state the total number of nights the providers in 1) were contracted for placements of under 18s in the time period given in Q1.
3. How much money did the council pay each provider for placements of under 18s in the time period given in Q1.?
4. Please provide a copy of a typical commissioning contract agreement with this type of accommodation providers.

Our response the questions 1-3 is provided in the table below, together with some supporting text for the omission of costs for our supported accommodation settings and question 4.

* Please note that the property management contract is between the Landlord of the building and the support provider for our Supported Accommodation and we do not hold the information. If you require the rental info, they’ll have to request from POBL (Chaplins) and Llamau (for the remaining settings).
In relation to question 4, we haven’t provided a copy of the contracts / service level agreements in place in regard to our supported accommodation. The reason being that under GDPR, even if they are anonymised as we have so few in Merthyr it would be easy to work out what projects and organisations they referred to.
