Re: Maesynant, Grove Park, Merthyr Tydfil, CF478HX.

I am seeking information relating to the drainage arrangements connected to both my property and the adjacent development, Harrap Park which is situated on land formerly associated with Maesynant.

Specifically, I would like to request the following:

• Copies of any planning applications, approvals, and associated documents relating to the adjacent development, particularly those concerning drainage and surface water management.

• Details of any drainage strategies, Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), or flood risk assessments submitted as part of the development.

• Records of any conditions attached to planning permission relating to drainage, and whether these conditions have been discharged.

• Any correspondence, reports, or inspections carried out by the council relating to drainage at the site.

• Information on adoption and maintenance responsibilities for drainage infrastructure serving the development.

• Records of any complaints, investigations, or enforcement actions relating to drainage issues impacting my property or the surrounding area.

• Any known issues regarding surface water runoff, flooding, or drainage capacity linked to this development.

Surface water drainage designs are dealt with through the SAB process so no drainage conditions would be linked to the planning application.

Maintenance of surface/foul water drainage infrastructure serving the individual properties is the responsibility of the property owners. The main foul sewer within the road, is the responsibility of Welsh Water. The culverted watercourse is the responsibility of the land owner.
