Re: LONG-TERM EMPTY RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES
1. A list of the addresses (including postcode) of all residential properties within the council area that have been empty/unoccupied for 12 months or longer, as recorded for council tax purposes.
2. For each property, the length of time it has been recorded as empty (or the date it became empty), if held.
3. An indication of which of these properties are currently subject to the long-term empty property council tax premium.
I understand that personal information such as owners' names will be withheld under data protection exemptions, and I am content for the response to exclude it - the addresses and duration empty are what I am requesting.
Answer
We currently have 414 properties recorded as being empty and unoccupied for 364+ days. Of these 414 properties, 245 are subject to Council Tax premium charges.
