Question
I am writing to ask whether the Council can provide a more detailed geographical breakdown of the results for the UK Parliamentary general election held on 4 July 2024 for any parliamentary constituency administered wholly or partly by your authority.
If available, I would be very grateful for:
- candidate vote totals by local authority ward;
- if ward-level totals were not produced, candidate vote totals by polling district;
- if available, results by polling station and/or individual ballot box;
- votes for every candidate, together with rejected ballots, electorate and turnout where those figures were recorded at that level;
- any mapping or reference showing how wards, polling districts, polling stations or ballot boxes corresponded to the relevant parliamentary constituency or constituencies.
If this breakdown was never produced or is no longer retained, a brief confirmation of that would still be very helpful. If another Returning Officer or local authority holds the relevant data, I would be grateful if you could either forward my request or point me to the correct contact.
I am only requesting aggregated election results and am not requesting any personal information about individual electors.
