Winners of the High Sheriff’s Award
Young people from across Mid Glamorgan, attended the recent High Sheriff’s Award presentation evening. The ceremony took place on March 22nd, 2018, at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Pencoed, Bridgend.
The Youth Mayor Jenna Noble and Deputy Youth Mayor Krystian Maciejczyk, of the County Borough of Merthyr Tydfil, attended the event, with many other young people from across the borough.
The young people, from Merthyr, had a lot to celebrate at the award night winning the following categories:

The Youth Mayor, Jenna, said that she was pleased to see so many well deserving young people and projects winning awards.
The young people were supported at the event by Deputy Mayor Councillor Clive Tovey, Deputy Leader Councillor Lisa Mytton, Children’s Champion Councillor Chris Davies and Chris Hole, Head of Community Wellbeing.
