Cwm Taf Morgannwg Community Health Council (CHC)
Cwm Taf Morgannwg Community Health Council (CHC) is the independent watchdog of NHS services across Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Bridgend.
The CHC consists of a small team of staff and volunteer members.
Cwm Taf Morgannwg Community Health Council has 4 main functions:-
- Systematically visiting and scrutinising local health services
- Continuously engaging with the communities they represent and the health service providers serving those communities. (Including obtaining feedback via online patient experience surveys).
- Representing the interests of patients and the public in the planning and agreement of NHS service change
- Enabling users of the NHS to raise concerns about the services they receive through an Independent Complaints Advocate
