Constitution

The Constitution sets out how Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council operates, how decisions are made and the procedures that are followed to ensure that these are efficient, transparent and accountable to local people. The law requires some of these processes, while others are a matter for the Council to choose.

It is a large document which has been divided into seven sections:
