Help us to recognise the achievements of young people and projects in Merthyr Tydfil at the 2021 Academy of Success Active Citizen Participation Awards.
The fourth annual ceremony will look a little different: taking place this evening, Friday 9 July at 5pm, this year’s finalists and winners will be celebrated virtually!
The awards are run by the Merthyr Tydfil Borough Wide Youth Forum. There are nine categories with a winner and a runner up, and each winner receives a crystal trophy.
Council Leader and Cabinet Member for Learning Cllr Lisa Mytton said: “Covid-19 has impacted greatly on the lives and mental health of our young people, and it is extremely important that we recognise and celebrate their achievements in these difficult times.”
