Budget Consultation 2020/21
- Categories : Press Release , Council
- 28 Oct 2019

Over the next few months, the Council’s Cabinet will be out and about across the County Borough asking you, our residents, how you think the Council should spend its budget for 2020/21.
As you will be aware, Merthyr Tydfil, like other local authorities across Wales, has seen a continued reduction in funding from Welsh Government. What this means is that we continually have to look at how the Council delivers its services, whilst also providing value for money to our customers.
It is more important than ever to seek your views prior to setting the budget and would encourage all our residents to attend one of the consultation sessions listed below. The Council’s Cabinet will be available to answer questions and also take back any efficiency suggestions that will assist us in providing efficient and effective services for the future.
