CK issue - April 23 24

Connected Kerb has issued the following statement regarding detection of an issue with electric vehicle charging points in our area. Until resolved, the affected equipment has been made unavailable for charging.

“The safety of our charging infrastructure is a top priority and we have our team of engineers on the ground inspecting each impacted charger.

“Further to this, we have taken the decision to switch off the affected chargers while the issue is resolved. There is some on-site work required which will take some time so we are temporarily removing the sites concerned from the Connected Kerb mobile app.

“Drivers who attend these locations will not be able to start a charge until the issue is resolved. We will keep you up to date throughout this process as we put all our effort and resources into making the chargers 100% safe.”

Currently, you are still able to charge your vehicles in the following carparks:

  • Trelewis - CF46 6AB
  • The Orbit Centre - CF48 1DL
  • St Tydfils (College) - CF48 1AR

We will update you with more information in due course. Diolch.
