Ffos-Y-Fran position statement: 23.12.23

Following the cessation of coaling on 22^nd November 2023, a Section 106 agreement was entered into allowing the movement of coal offsite until 27^th December 2023.

An extension has been agreed between Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council and Merthyr (South Wales) Limited until midnight on Monday 8^th January 2024, to allow for the processing or movement of coal due to inclement weather and matters outside of the reasonable control of the owners.
