Playgrounds to re-open from Monday 27th July

An announcement from Councillor David Hughes, Portfolio Member for Neighbourhood Services: “From Monday 27^th July all playgrounds deemed safe will open across Merthyr Tydfil.

“Our teams are currently carrying out site inspections, cutting grass and working on any other required maintenance before they open.

“Our priority is to ensure the safety of users at all times, so rules of use will be posted at each location and we encourage anyone using the facilities to use hand sanitiser and adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times.  Thank you for your cooperation.”
