Councils from across South and Mid-Wales will be coming together this Saturday to participate in the annual Pride Cymru parade in Cardiff.

The parade is a visually spectacular celebration of equality and diversity and normally has around 10,000 participants stretching a mile long through the streets of the capital city.

This year the parade will depart from Castle Street at 11.00am before heading down High Street and St. Mary Street, along Mill Lane and through the Hayes. It will then turn down Queen Street, onto Park Place and finally Greyfriars Road before finishing on the Kingsway.

Anybody can line the streets to watch the parade for free. Pride Cymru also provide weekend-long entertainment. Information on the line-up and ticketing can be found at www.pridecymru.com
