Merthyr Tydfil residents are being asked for their opinions on how the Council should spend its 2022/23 budget.

A public consultation exercise will take place from 17th November 2021 to 9th February 2022 and over the next few months the Council’s Cabinet will be out and about across Merthyr Tydfil asking you, our residents, what services should be prioritised, as well as how you think Council Tax should be set for the coming year. Cabinet Members will be available to listen to and answer questions and will take your suggestions back to colleagues for discussion.

Details of the face-to-face roadshows are being finalised and we will confirm those on our website and social media pages soon.

In the meantime an online survey is available (see below) and paper copies can be requested by phoning 01685 725000 or by emailing: Corporate.Communications@merthyr.gov.uk
