Merthyr Tydfil Community Safety Partnership is aware of current issues with off-road vehicles reported by residents on land across the county borough.
The Partnership, comprising County Borough Council public protection officers and South Wales Police, are monitoring sites for off-road bikes and cars and will take action against anyone apprehended.
“We are getting numerous complaints about this intimidating form of anti-social behaviour which damages land – often beautiful scenery - and presents a risk to walkers and people living there,” said Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Public Protection Cllr Geraint Thomas.
“We’re also asking the community to assist us by providing information on the individuals involved in these activities.”
You can report incidents in confidence by emailing community.safety@merthyr.gov.uk
