Update on Pontsticill

Following Storm Bert, we experienced two landslips located in Ponsticill. In addition to the slips, we had a void open up in Nant Morlais, Pant and had no choice but to redirect our resources to this emergency.

The road to Ponsticill has now been undermined (to dig beneath, excavating ground from under) therefore we cannot reopen the affected road until works have been carried out. We are scheduled to begin work onsite from January 2025. This isn’t straight forward, as we need to work alongside both Welsh Water and Natural Resources Wales to successfully complete the works.
