WARNING: Fake Labubu dolls could put children at risk

Merthyr Tydfil Trading Standards is urging parents and carers to be cautious of counterfeit Labubu dolls being sold online and in local shops.
These fakes may:
- Lack safety testing
- Contain small parts (choking hazard)
- Use banned chemicals
- Include unsafe electronics
Safety Tips:
- Buy from trusted retailers
- Look for CE/UKCA marks
- Be wary of “too good to be true” prices
- Check packaging for safety info
