How many raids under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 were carried out between 31st August 2019 and 31st August 2023 by Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council, including those in conjunction with the RSPCA and/or the South Wales police force. 2. How many raids were carried out under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 between 31st August 2019 and 31st August 2023 by South Wales police and/ or the RSPCA independently of Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council. 3. How many were domestic premises. How many were Animal Welfare Establishments (AWE’s) including rescues and sanctuaries, and how many were puppy farms. 4. A total of how many animals were seized and removed from the premises during these raids for further assessment, and a breakdown of animal by type i.e. dogs, cats - paying particular reference to dogs. 5. A total of how many animals with specific reference to dogs were euthanised ‘on site’ during those raids. 6. How many of those animals euthanised on site during the raids were euthanised due to ill/health and/or neglect and how many were euthanised as they were deemed ‘too dangerous’ to transport, with specific reference to dogs. 7. How many animals which were seized, specifically dogs were later euthanised due to ill health/neglect. 8. How many animals which were seized, specifically dogs were later euthanised due to being deemed too dangerous.
