Re: Relating to current and future needs within your local authority’s adult and children’s social care services: 1. Adult Social Care: Please provide details of any identified or projected gaps in provision, including but not limited to: -Domiciliary care -Supported living (including complex needs or forensic support) -Residential placements -Specialist or hard-to-place cohorts (e.g. adults with dual diagnoses, behaviours that challenge, autism spectrum conditions) 2. Children’s Social Care: Please provide details of any current or forecasted gaps in: -Residential care placements (including EBD, LD, autism, and high-risk children) -Semi-independent or supported accommodation (16+ provision) -Family support services or early intervention programmes -Specialist placements or out-of-area commissioning pressures 3. Strategic Documentation: If available, please include the most recent versions of: -Market Position Statements -Commissioning strategies for adult or children’s services -Joint Strategic Needs Assessments (JSNAs) -Sufficiency assessments for children’s services (especially around residential care) If any of the above information is already available in the public domain, I would be grateful if you could kindly direct me to the relevant links or documents.

Adult Social Care: Please provide details of any identified or projected gaps in provision, including but not limited to: -Domiciliary care At present we do project any gaps in provision -Supported living (including complex needs or forensic support) At present we do not project any gaps in provision -Residential placements At present we do not project any gaps in provision -Specialist or hard-to-place cohorts (e.g. adults with dual diagnoses, behaviours that challenge, autism spectrum conditions) At present we do not project any gaps in provision we base our commissioning upon need and will undertake market needs analysis when required 2. Children’s Social Care: Please provide details of any current or forecasted gaps in: -Residential care placements (including EBD, LD, autism, and high-risk children) -Semi-independent or supported accommodation (16+ provision) -Family support services or early intervention programmes -Specialist placements or out-of-area commissioning pressures We are forecasting gaps in not for profit foster placements of approximately 35. We are working on not for profit supported accommodation and currently have a gap on not for profit 16 plus homes in MTCBC and for unaccompanied asylum seeker homes- approximately 12 beds needed. 3. Strategic Documentation: If available, please include the most recent versions of: -Market Position Statements At present we do not have this information for adult services but we will be considering this for the future -Commissioning strategies for adult or children’s services we work jointly with the regional commissioning unit please see attached link Regional Commissioning Unit - CTM A commissioning strategy is being considered for adult services -Joint Strategic Needs Assessments (JSNAs) -Sufficiency assessments for children’s services (especially around residential care) Children services due to the nature of the data this cannot be shared.
