Playgrounds 1. The total number of publicly owned and managed playgrounds. At Present there are a total of 44 playgrounds managed by MTCBC 2. The number of these playgrounds that are accessible to children with disabilities (e.g. inclusive play equipment, wheelchair access, sensory-friendly areas). At Present there are 23 accessible playgrounds with inclusive play equipment, 13 have interactive play panels, and 1 has sensory musical equipment. Leisure centres 1. The total number of publicly owned and managed leisure centres. One – Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Centre 2. The number of these leisure centres that provide facilities or programmes accessible to children with disabilities (e.g. accessible swimming pools, adaptive sports equipment, sensory rooms, inclusive fitness classes).
