Recently the BBC show "Fake or Fortune" highlighted the sale of art and other similar items by Hertfordshire County Council in 2019 ( https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-47552347 & https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cr4enxv42k4o ). I am making this request across Wales to discover if any similar sell offs have taken place here. The request covers 'art', but could cover items called cultural items, or known as heritage assets or similar terms. I would like to request: - If since 2019 the authority has sold any such items. - The last time the local authority presented a report to councillors/members to consider or approve a sell off (eg. Wrexham , 2014 https://wrexham.com/news/museum-meeting-to-consider-sell-off-of-collections-to-pay-for-frontline-services-47440.html ) If items have been sold I would like to request: - Dates and locations / manner of sale - A list of item names, descriptions, or any similar meta information of the items - Price realised per item - Destination of the item, where known

I can confirm that no ‘art’ including all cultural items/heritage assets fhave been sold by Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council which owns and manages the museum service. - The last time the local authority presented a report to councillors/members to consider or approve a sell off (eg.
