Under the Freedom of Information Act, please could you answer the following questions regarding rough sleepers in your area. 1. How many individual rough sleepers have been identified in your area during the calendar year 2019 (January to December)? 2. If known, how many individual rough sleepers have been identified in your area during the calendar years 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018? Please provide an answer for any of those years for which you have data. 3. If available, how many of the rough sleepers identified during 2019 were found accommodation? 4. Please could you explain or link to what your authority does to identify rough sleepers and assist them to come off the streets.

As above, as not reported on, only homeless presentations are reported and not necessarily all rough sleepers, but some could be part of the total numbers of those presenting to our statutory services. 4. We commission various projects including Housing First, Assertive Outreach and Streetsmarts Services who hold drop ins, are out in the community and operate within existing agencies to engage with and support those rough sleeping to access services to work to securing accommodation or getting any support that they require.
