Question
From a previous FOI request back in 2020 Merthyr Tydfil County Council confirmed the FromSA product SKU was used in its Microsoft Office 365 software licensing agreement and that the previously used Microsoft Office perpetual licences had not been ‘relinquished’. Do Merthyr Tydfil County Council still, therefore, own the Microsoft Office perpetual licences that were used prior to the migration to 365? If so what versions/quantities of these licences do you still own? If they are no longer owned by the council what happened to them? Please note; Under section 3(2) of the FOIA information is held by a public authority and so subject to a general right of access if that information is held by another person on behalf of a public authority.
