Community Councils

Community or town councils are the most local level of government in England and Wales.  The principal organisation in Wales is One Voice Wales, providing a strong voice representing community and town councils' interests and a range of high quality services to support their work.

Bedlinog & Trelewis Community Council is the only community council in Merthyr Tydfil, and its elected members provide a link between the local communities of Bedlinog and Trelewis and the Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council.

They hold monthly meetings that the public are welcome to attend, and the dates are published in advance.
