UK Town of Culture Survey

Merthyr Tydfil is considering a bid for the UK Town of Culture Competition.

This new nationwide competition launched by UK government to celebrate towns’ unique cultural stories and boost local pride and creativity, it aims to share a spotlight on local culture, bring new investment and community energy, and helps towns celebrate what makes them special. 

Winners of the competition will receive funding to support cultural activities during 2028.
