The Programme Manager for the Plan for Neighbourhoods (PfN) programme has a pivotal role, responsible for driving the successful delivery of Neighbourhood initiatives under the leadership of the Neighbourhood Board. While recruited by the local authority, this position requires a unique ability to navigate dual accountability, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication between both the local authority and the Neighbourhood Board.
This role is crucial for ensuring the programme is implemented on time, within budget, and achieves its intended outcomes and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
• Liaison: Act as the Neighbourhood Board, stakeholder and community primary point of contact for the Council on all aspects of the PfN programme.
• Coordination: Take responsibility for coordinating the Neighbourhood Programme Board on behalf of the Council, which acts as the accountable body for the Board.
• Reporting & Administration: Prepare highlight reports for board meetings, accurately record meeting minutes, manage a live action tracker
• Financial & Compliance Oversight: Establish and manage the grant administration process, ensuring all due diligence procedures are set up and followed to maintain compliance.
• Scheduling: Take responsibility for the timeline programme and associated projects. Ensuring they are on track and milestones and deadlines are met
• Performance Monitoring: Oversee the reporting and monitoring of all projects within the programme to track progress and ensure successful delivery.
This role requires a dedicated professional who can effectively manage a key programme while maintaining strong administrative and compliance standards.
