The Governing Body of the Taff Bargoed Learning Partnership is seeking an inspirational leader who can take our school forward and enhance the good practices and standards already in place.
Within the Taff Bargoed Learning Partnership, our schools have developed and co-constructed a shared vision for our Schools, which underpins the work of the Taff Bargoed Learning Partnership. As a Federation, our vision and core purpose remain the same; to provide high quality teaching and learning to all our pupils which raises aspirations and prepares our Pupils for their futures. Our vision, which we feel encapsulates this, is:
‘To be an inclusive, child-centered school, at the heart of our Community, that develops independent, resilient learners. We aim to be a school that celebrates individuality and encourages every child to reach their potential. Learners will receive an inspiring, rich and engaging education, provided through authentic experiences, which allows them to flourish. We aim to promote the importance of being a global citizen and encourage a love of learning, allowing all children to succeed in their everyday lives.’
We are looking for an Executive Headteacher who:
• Is passionate about inclusion and will work to ensure the very best provision for all our pupils
• Has the wellbeing of all members of our school community at the core of their work
• Is a strategic thinker with a clear vision for the continued success and a proven track record of delivering positive outcomes
• Is committed to ongoing development of the Taff Bargoed Learning Partnership as a truly community focused school
• Has excellent communication and collaboration skills enabling the continued development of effective partnerships with children, staff, parents, governors, outside agencies and the wider community.
• shares our values, is approachable, supportive and passionate about the success of the staff and pupils.
• is a forward thinking, creative and inspirational leader, who is able to use evidence informed practice in ensuring that our curriculum and learning offer is based on a vision of excellence for all.
• will enable the development of Welsh language and culture across the school, local community and county borough as we continue to build our bilingual approach to learning.
